Katarina Sjögren has informed the Board that she wishes to leave her role as CEO of Atvexa AB (publ). The Board of Directors is therefore now initiating a recruitment process for a new CEO.

The Atvexa Group has developed strongly in recent years. Based on a strong belief that preschools and schools with different pedagogical orientations and working methods are needed for all children to find the right learning environment. The Atvexa Group's subsidiary offers real diversity, a diversity that is important for children, students and employees. Atvexa has a broad and strong management function both overall for Atvexa and in the subsidiaries, which has contributed to the company growing by an average of about 30% per year over the past 10 years.

"Katarina has done a fantastic job. Atvexa with its value-driven and decentralized way of working exhibits very good quality and has grown significantly year after year, which we see as proof that the Atvexa model works, where Katarina has been a driving force. The company is now well positioned for continued development in all the geographies we are active; a job the new CEO will take forward. "After almost 10 instructive, meaningful and eventful years in Atvexa and after more than 25 years in various management positions, I have reached a point in my life where I want to de-escalate to have more time for the family and to devote myself to other projects and interests. Atvexa with all the fine preschools, schools and employees means a lot to me and I will remain and lead Atvexa until the board has found my replacement", says Katarina Sjögren.
